LightLive, the online service that puts Bible-based learning material at the fingertips of children's and youth workers, went live today (Thursday May 8). We'd love you to have a look at it and then pass the news around your networks.
Just to refresh your memories: LightLive gives children's and youth leaders free-of-charge access to a weekly syllabus of downloadable material following Scripture Union's Light programme, for groups aged up to 14. It also gives access to all-age materials.

Just had a very quick look at Lightlive on my day off!! Its fantastic. I love the way I can search so many back resources and I've found a great idea to use already! Also love the way you've been gracious enough to provide this free of charge!! Thank you - I look forward to using it loads in the near future!!
Just like Charis, I love the way Lightlive is free and easy to search a lot of previous resources.
My only plea for version 2 of the Lightlive is that when you go to the programme page, you can get to see more than one activity at a time. Bit of a pain to look at Activity A, think click on Act B, then check back to A, then look at C, then what was B... etc etc, the way each activity 'folds down' is a bit frustrating.
But having said that, it is my only suggestion for an otherwise excellent year of development for SU... first wordlive and now lightlive... what's next?
On and could you change the time settings for this blog - SU is located on our shores... yet when I type this at 13:13... it comes up as..
Thanks for the comments and all the ideas will be taken on board as we develop the site... a big thanks for them.
As for the time setting, I'll see what I can do :-)
Just found your blog, I'm the Director of SU in Western Australia and I think that Lightlive has really great potential. I have blogged about it on our blog Catalytic I hope it takes on and I hope you find a few Western Australian groups picking it up.
thanks for the comments and positive feedback
